  1. I am used to paying £1.50 for a swim with a Leeds card. I have been coming to Bramley baths once a week for a 30min swim for over the last 10years. Can you have charges that relate to the time that is used in the pool?

    • Hi Gordon, the price for an adult swim with a LeedsCard/SA/60 is £3.10, and with a LeedsCard Extra/SX £2.30. We don’t have the subsidy that a Council-run establishment has and Council pools are heavily subsidized. Your suggestion about charges based on time in the pool is really interesting, it’s something we considered but chose not to apply because it’s very hard to monitor and we’d be in danger of under-pricing regular swims. We’re not trying to make a profit, we’re here to cover our costs but the reality is that Council-subsidised pools are very hard to match price-wise and we have tried to be as fair as possible. I will log your suggestion for future review, and really hope you can carry on using Bramley Baths.

      • Dear friendsof bramleybaths As I live outside the area and drive to Bramley for a swim I have already been paying more than I would to a city council baths including petrol ect. and have not been able to justify paying that much more with your current prices for a half hour swim a week. All the best in keeping the place open.
