It’s back to school for some of you and it’s back to the regular timetable for us. We’ve had a brilliant Easter, with special Under 8’s swims, the children’s inflatable out in the pool, and new kids activities including Circus Skills, Boxercise for kids and Arts and Crafts classes.
The new term of children’s swimming lessons begins this week, but parents can still enroll over the coming fortnight. Be quick if you’re interested in lessons as the places are on a first-come-first-served basis. Bramley Baths teaches the Dolphin Scheme, which is suitable for kids aged 3 and a half years or more. The teachers can assess which level your child is best suited to, a beginners group or a one of the improvers’ groups such as Seals, Minnows or Barracudas. Lots of families are starting to think about summer holidays so it’s a good time to help kids get really confident in the water.
Two new fitness classes start soon at Bramley Baths. In response to suggestions at Bramley Baths and on facebook & twitter, we’re starting Baby Swimming-Lessons on 8th May. The weekly classes are for a parent and babies aged 6 months or over. £6 per class and there are only a couple of places left so get in touch on 0113 214 6000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Bokwa classes for adults begin on 24 April, 11am-12Noon – our first foray into the exciting new fitness trend that has captured the imagination of thousands of people in the US and is spreading across the UK. £4 per class and it looks like brilliant funercise to us! If you’ve not come across Bokwa before, it’s influenced by street-dance and a couple of minutes of this video clip will give you a taste: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_soxJDXAFE
